Offsides Soccer Academy, LLC. was established in 2017 as a fun way for young fathers who played competitive and recreational soccer in their youth, to teach their own children and their children's friends a more fun, efficient and simpler way to learn how to play the game at any level. These dads used their previous knowledge and skills to come up with easier solutions and routines for younger players to learn and enjoy the game. What started out as just 5 players looking to get better on their own, ended up becoming a local treasure and quickly expanded to Juniors sessions, personal training, futsal and even getting hired to be a coaches for one of the top clubs in the Seattle area. Coach Joel Mallari, Coach Pedro Martinez and Coach Mike Mallari continue to work with and help hundreds of players in our area become the best versions of themselves in the game.

The concept is simple as is the playing the game of soccer. We have studied and learned through experience playing and coaching how to make learning and development more simple and effective for players. Now learning does not necessarily equal development as we have seen and experienced with many coaches before. We can learn how to juggle the soccer ball, but can you use if effectively in a game situation? We look to help your player connect learning into development. Our goal is to create players who have a great soccer IQ, solid fundamentals and continue to be confident and passionate about soccer. TRAIN to build good habits, PLAY to experience the game and DEVELOP into a great soccer player.
